Mindplus AI is thrilled to be selected as a member of the Hong Kong Science Park Ideation Programme. This is a rare opportunity for us to further develop our AI solution in ophthalmology, with the goal of improving the accuracy and efficiency of Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) diagnosis. With the support and resources provided by Hong Kong Science Park, we are confident in making a significant impact in the healthcare industry.
Mindplus AI’s innovative solution utilizes artificial intelligence and deep learning technology to assist medical professionals in identifying abnormal OCT images and focusing on key regions. By reducing the waiting time between imaging and diagnosis, the company aims to address the existing problem of long waiting times and a shortage of ophthalmologists in Hong Kong. Their solution initially focuses on the three most common eye disorders: Age-Related Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma, and Diabetic Macular Edema.
Being selected for the Ideation Programme is a significant milestone for Mindplus AI, and we will continue to strive for excellence in the field of medical technology. With the support of Hong Kong Science Park, Mindplus AI plans to further optimize their AI algorithms, expand their dataset, and explore collaborations with medical institutions, ultimately making a contribution to the healthcare industry in Hong Kong and beyond.
